Gurnet's Dog Sees God has one more week at the BCA. And Jacqui Parker is a really cool Jesus in a church hat. They seem to have expected a bio-play. Instead to show is more like a series of related one acts with a complex frame distilled from the authors turbulent life. The performing area was appropriately spare, the modern dress acceptable.  The prose translation makes the exposition clear and the acting made it effective if non-poetic.
